Why did you choose to come to MSU?

I chose to come to MSU because of the atmosphere. The campus is beautiful, and the community is both welcoming and supportive. After visiting several colleges, MSU was the one that felt like home.

How did the METP program enhance your college experience at Mississippi State?

Being a part of the METP program allowed me to meet upperclassmen in my major who were always willing to lend advice along the way. It also allowed me to develop many friendships that I know will last for many years.

What were some of your on-campus involvements outside of METP?

I was very involved at The Wesley on campus. The Wesley was a great group of people who I now consider a family. Throughout each week, there were several opportunities to serve the community, fellowship, and grow in faith.  I also was a member of Lambda Sigma Honors Society.

Please share a funny moment/interesting fact about yourself.

At home, my family has a small farm with several goats, a couple of pigs, one big fluffy sheepdog, and a lot of chickens. We get fresh eggs and milk every day.
