Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?
I decided to come to MSU to pursue my degree because I could tell that the Department of Education here was going to give me the best opportunities. We have a faculty that goes to great lengths to ensure that we are prepared to teach tomorrow's leaders. The encouragement we receive gives us confidence in our endeavors in and out of the classroom.
What do you want people to know about you?
I am thrilled to think that in one year I will have students of my own to pour into, I am getting married in December of 2019 to the love of my life, I am passionate about mission work overseas, and I am a lover of all thing travel!
What activities are you involved in on campus outside of METP?
I am a METP scholar as well as a James Patterson scholar.
What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?
It never stops getting better! The relationships I have made through the Department of Education, whether that be through my fellow students or faculty, will be the ones that last.
