Where are you now? Horn Lake Intermediate School, Horn Lake, MS

Why did you choose to come to MSU? The atmosphere of care and community that embraced me every time I stepped on campus said this was my home.  The people and faculty there were genuine, and they cared about your success, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

How did the METP enhance your college experience at Mississippi State? The METP allows future educators to come to college and focus on getting a degree instead of focusing on how to pay for college.  It enabled me to follow my dream of being a teacher, and surrounded me with friends and future colleagues who had the same goals as I. 

What were some of your other involvements on campus? I was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority, and I played for their intramural soccer team.  I was also a member of the honors college program.

Interesting Fact: I have an identical twin who went to Ole Miss.
