Where are you now? Eupora High School in Eupora, MS

Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education? I'd always loved the MSU campus, and every time I visited, I felt right at home. The faculty was always more than helpful during each of my visits, and some of my best high school memories occured at the Drama Fest that was held there in December. There wasn't a doubt that I wanted to attend MSU, and I was so thankful that this program gave me the opportunity to pursue my degree.

What do you want people to know about you? I can be somewhat of an introvert around people that I have just met, but when I get comfortable around people, I can be almost annoyingly talkative. I love theatre and musicals, so when I am given the oppportunity to talk about them, it's very hard to make myself stop.

What activities were you involved in on campus (outside of METP)? I got involved with some activism groups and drama groups.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school? Everyone will probably be rushing you to hurry up and decide what you wnat to do with the rest of your life, but rather than stress over that, remember that you do have the rest of your life to live and learn and experience new things. What you want to do now might change in five years, and that's perfectly fine! Just focus on what you want out of life.
