Where are you now? Southaven Elementary, Southaven, MS

Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education? I fell in love with the campus and the people as soon as I stepped foot there. I'd always wanted to pursue a career in education and once I learned about the METP, I knew that if I worked hard enough, I could have a full ride to my dream school.

What do you want people to know about you? I am very socially oriented, and love making relationships with new people! I come off as very shy and quiet in the beginning, but once I'm comfortable, I thrive in all of my surroundings.

What activities were you involved in on campus? I took part in panhellenic recruitment and I looked forward to finding other interesting organizations on campus!

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school? Don't let published criteria discourage you from all the opportunities you have! There can always be exceptions to requirements that you don't know about!
