Where are you now? West Elementary in Sturgis, MS

Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education? The second I stepped foot on MSU's campus it felt like home. Everyone was so friendly and I loved the atmosphere. I was very passionate about education and loved children. I had always wanted to become a teacher and this university and program were the perfect place for that!

What do you want people to know about you? I love children and am so grateful for the opportunity to further my career in education.

What activities were you involved in on campus (outside of METP)? I joined a sorority and got involved in community service programs.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school? To stay open minded and get as involved as possible!
