Where are you now? Southaven High School in Southaven, MS

Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education? I wanted to instill the passion I had for learning about the world around us into future students. I wanted to make sure that people that live long after me would continue to explore and protect the earth.

What do you want people to know about you? I love animals! Most of the time, I prefer the company of my little critters to people. I currently have 12 pets of various shapes and sizes living in my home, including gekoes and sugar gliders. 

What activities were you involved in on campus (other than METP)? I got involved in groups on campus that focused on the environment and community service.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school? Go to as many events at your future college as you can. I went to A LOT of events for high school seniors that MSU offered and because of it, I met a ton of cool people that I got to study and hang out with.
