Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I have grown up as a Mississippi State fan. Many family members, including my mother, are MSU graduates. When I visited as a high school student, I was impressed with the personal attention I received from the moment I stepped on campus. Mississippi State is more than a university, it is a family.

What do you want people to know about you?

I am blessed to have an identical twin sister. Emily Grace and I are excited about attending Mississippi State together. I love to travel and experience new places. One of my favorite places to visit was Ireland where I performed in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Dublin. I have also had the opportunity to serve on several mission trips. One of my favorite trips was to Washington, D.C. where we supported a growing Christian community in the Georgetown area.

Who has had the biggest impact on your life? Why?

My grandmother has a tremendous impact on my life. I've had the privilege of traveling all over the country with her, growing my love for travel. She has taught me the beauty of a true and complete faith in the Lord. Her example of patience and grace will forever encourage me. I am so honored to call her my grandmother.

What activities are you currently involved in?

I am currently involved in my high school's Yearbook Staff, Marching and Concert Band, and Spring Musical.
