Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I chose MSU because many of my relatives have received degrees from state.  Although I have been raised to bleed maroon and white, I chose to pursue a degree in education from Mississippi State due to the reputation of its classes and teachers.

What do you want people to know about you?

I am the youngest of four, but I don't like to live in my siblings' shadows. I work extra hard to make a name for myself due to that.

Who has had the biggest impact on your life? Why?

My parents have had the biggest impact on my life.  My parents have always told me that I can become whoever or whatever I wanted.  They have always supported me in my decisions, especially in deciding what I wanted to choose as my career.  My mom is a teacher, so she inspired me to want to teach.

What activities are you currently involved in?

I am currently involved in new maroon camp at MSU, and I am going to rush in the fall.
