Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I have always had a huge heart for my home state, and would love to see more kids there with the same love of knowledge that I've had. MSU's teaching program provided me with so much opportunity and hospitality, so naturally it was the best choice for me!

What do you want people to know about you?

My favorite author is Jane Austen, and her work inspires me so much as a woman even in modern times.

Who has had the biggest impact on your life? Why?

My younger sister Kalynn has had the biggest impact on my life. She has taught me so much through her joy and love, and she is a large reason I decided to pursue a degree in education. Now, instead of playing school with her at home, I get to live that game in my daily life!
