Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I come from a long line of educators, and I have wanted to follow in their footsteps and become a teacher for as long as I can remember. After visiting several other universities, I finally felt at home as soon as I set foot on the Mississippi State campus! Every person I have spoken to is welcoming and helpful, and the campus is amazing. Receiving the invitation to join METP solidified my decision, and I am so excited to be a Bulldog!

What do you want people to know about you?

I love meeting new people and spending time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite hobbies including playing/watching sports, reading, and volunteering in my community. I aim to let my light for Jesus shine in everything I do, and I cannot be more excited to spend these next four years at MSU!

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school

Be involved and diversified in what you do! Joining different organizations and teams gives you the ability to form numerous friendships and discover what you are truly passionate about!
