Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

With two parents in the education field, I grew up in a household led by teachers, and it soon became a childhood dream of mine. With MSU's exceptional Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program and the opportunity to remain in my home state, it was a no-brainer that this is where I wanted to be for my next four years.

What do you want people to know about you?

I was an All-District dual sport athlete between football and basketball. I also worked as a camp counselor throughout the summer and school year.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

No matter who says you can't do it, know that with hard work and the right mindset, you can do whatever goals you lay out for yourself.
