Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I decided on Mississippi State because of the culture of the school during my on campus visit.  It also felt like a home away from home. The opportunities of the METP scholarship and education program strongly influenced my decision. 

What do you want people to know about you?

I was a hard working student and dedicated to learning as much as possible so I could be the best in whatever I did when I left Mississippi State. 

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

Don’t let college freak you out. Don’t let going out and enjoying the non academic parts of college get in the way of your classes. This is where you begin your path to a career and have some of the best years of your life. Make smart decisions, but enjoy it.
