Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I grew up in a Bulldog family, but the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program is really what drew me to Mississippi State. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, but when Mrs. Stubbs contacted me about METP, I knew it was a huge opportunity that I wanted to take advantage of.

What do you want people to know about you?

I am a freshman at Mississippi State University and an aspiring elementary teacher.  I love music and hope to be able to share that passion with my students one day!

What activities are you currently involved in?

I am the freshman representative for MIssissippi State's women's choir, Schola Cantorum, and I am a hostess at Starkville's new steakhouse, 44 Prime.
