Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I'm so thankful that I can pursue this dream at Mississippi State! I'm passionate about working with children, and I hope to make a differene in the lives of my future students.  When I visited MSU, I immediately loved the family-like atmosphere and knew this was a place I could call home for the next few years. MSU's education program is wonderful, and I'm excited to be a part of it.

What do you want people to know about you?

My faith in Christ is extremely important to me! I also love spending time with friends and family, and some of my other passions are fitness, reading, and traveling.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

The transition from high school to college is a really exciting time.  Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things.  Make sure you work hard and get involved on campus!
