Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

My dad graduated from State and living in Columbus, I grew up a Bulldog. I never had any intention of going anywhere else for school. Mississippi State is the only school I applied to out of high school. I have been an athlete my entire life, and my love for the game's strategic elements drove me to want to become a coach. Outside of my love for sports, I also want to positively impact student's lives through sports.

What do you want people to know about you?

As I mentioned previously, I have a passion for sports, but above all is my love for Christ. As a person,  I strive to be the hardest worker around in everything I do. I can often be fairly reserved at first, but once I get comfortable around you I enjoy laughing and joking around.

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

ENJOY IT! Live in the present and even though it is hard, do not get too worried about the future. I have to remind myself of this all the time, and if I could go back, that would be the one thing I would try to change. I've learned to not rush through things to try to get to the next stage of your life. Once you've ended one chapter you can't go back, all you have are the memories you've made, so make them and enjoy them.
