Why did you decide to come to MSU and pursue a degree in education?

I love the campus and how great of an education MSU provides. I want to go into education because I want to impact students the way my teachers have impacted me. Teenagers need good role models, and I feel like being in a teaching position, I’ll be able to be that for so many. 

What do you want people to know about you?

I love to sing, and I’ve played soccer my whole life. I take my school work seriously, but I also love to have fun and hang out with my friends. I’m very strong in my faith and love learning more about the Lord, especially with others who have that same passion for Him! 

What advice would you give to entering freshmen or students finishing up high school?

It’s okay to fear the unknown! Remember that His plan is greater than yours! If life never changes, you can never grow. Look for the good in all situations. Even if it doesn’t seem like there are any positives, there are always things to be thankful for.
